英文科佳績! 方浩文同學於香港英語寫作比賽2023中榮獲優異獎!
Over 250 primary and secondary schools enthusiastically participated in the Hong Kong English Writing Contest 2023. The competition was organized by Hong Kong Economic Times TOPick News and supported by both The Oxford University Press and Learn Smart Education. Abdul Munem, a Form 2 student, was awarded a Merit certificate at the Award Ceremony, which was held on 28th October 2023. The topic of the competition is "My Post-COVID Life in Hong Kong,", a reflection on the recent pandemic we have all faced. This posed a significant challenge for Abdul, as English is not his first language, and he was only in Form 1 when he composed his entry. However, with the guidance of Ms. Lim, his English teacher, he navigated the challenge successfully. As Shakespeare said, "All things are ready, if our mind be so," their efforts have been recognized. Abdul has returned with honour, along with a Science Dictionary from Oxford University Press and a gift bag from TOPick News. This is surely an unforgettable learning experience that Abdul will treasure.
本校中二級方浩文同學，在香港經濟日報TOPick新聞主辦，並得到牛津大學出版社和學博教育的全力支持的年香港英語寫作比賽2023中備受讚許，榮獲優異獎!超過250所小學和中學參加此比賽，方同學能於眾多具實力的參加者中脫穎而出，佳績實在令人鼓舞!比賽主題為「我在香港的後疫情生活」，描寫了我們在過去三年所面對的挑戰及迎難而上的樂觀精神。對於方同學而言，他也是一個樂於挑戰的青年人，因為英語並非他的母語，而且他在中一時便參加全港性的比賽。正如莎士比亞所言：“心境有備，萬事俱就”，他們的努力獲得了肯定。頒獎典禮於2023年10月28日舉行，方同學榮獲優異獎，並獲頒榮譽證書，這無疑是Abdul將終生珍藏的難忘學習體驗。
